ITARTS IS THE FUTURE OF ART, RESOURCES, TIME AND SPACE
ItARTS is not just an acronym, but a statement of intent: art as action. A gesture capable of connecting, innovating, and transforming.
Born out of the challenges of the post-pandemic world, our project provides artists and creatives with the Resources, Time, and Spaces they need to thrive. We want to transform Italy’s cultural heritage into an engine of international development, like a living stream of tradition and contemporary skills projected into the future.
With a transdisciplinary STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) approach, we transcend the boundaries between different fields of knowledge. We provide young talents with the technological, digital, and entrepreneurial skills they need to navigate the contemporary creative ecosystem and breathe new life into artistic practice in educational institutions.
The fundamental pillars of ItARTS are the construction of a solid international artistic infrastructure, the creation of original multimedia works within the Learning Living Labs (LLL), and their dissemination in an international traveling festival.
The conceptual and operational engine of ItARTS takes shape in L’Aquila, an international hub where artistic innovation is cultivated, produced, and prepared for the global stage. The Learning Living Lab is designed to transform talent into original and sustainable works.
The International Traveling Festival is ItARTS’ global showcase.
The three original works created in our laboratories travel to four countries to represent the excellence of new Italian creativity, accompanied by a rich program of concerts, exhibitions, and installations.
A tour that unites cultures and continents, from Central Asia to the heart of Europe.
